As a Certified Trainer for NAHREP’s 10 disciplines, Mark Pinilla earned his latest achievement through his dedication to paying it forward. Believing that “only through the application of knowledge do we obtain power, wealth, and prosperity,” Mark feels obligated to share what he has learned, how it has positively impacted his life, and how others can apply it to enrich their own lives.

Mark preceded his appointment to NAHREP as an esteemed member of Toastmasters, underscored by his International Speech, Table Topic, and Evaluation Speech Contest Winner accolades. Joining the organization in 2004 until 2008, Toastmasters was the foundation for Mark’s public speaking education and was instrumental in honing his skills. He served as the organization’s Sergeant At Arms, Vice President of Education, three-time President, and Area Governor, where he was responsible for the logistics and success of five clubs.

Mark is the top-producing property manager for Keyes Property Management, leveraging his nearly 30 years of combined property management and real estate experience to deliver comprehensive services for property owners and investors. Mark is also a real estate agent at The Keyes Company and the go-to resource for 1000+ REALTORS®, guiding them through successful deal closings and advising owners and tenants about complex leasing laws. Mark drew from his leasing expertise to launch a two-hour real estate class — Understanding the Florida Lease Agreement — which has been shared with 3,500 agents at his company and nearly 60,000 members of the Miami Association of REALTORS®, of which he is a trainer.

Mark’s public speaking opportunities have extended to church, schools, and work, but it’s just one way he gives back. He’s also a philanthropist equally passionate about the nonprofit he founded, Vet Info, which advocates for the mental health of our heroic military veterans. Mark holds a liberal arts degree with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Latin American affairs, and he studied abroad and embarked on a banking internship, both in Ecuador. He has also taken multiple leadership and sales courses to further strengthen his skill set.

Originally from San Jose, California, Mark has lived in Doral, Florida, since 1998. He enjoys trying new restaurants, friendly gatherings at home, exercising, outdoor activities, creating WordPress sites, and, above all, spending time with his wife and two daughters.
